This is a report to introduce only one challenge pertaining to Israeli Unilateral policies in Jerusalem: "Access to holy Sites and freedom of Worship". There are more areas of restrictions, limitations showing discriminatory policies.
Introduction
Jerusalem, the spiritual city for the three monotheistic religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, is also the center of Palestinian identity and the source of its cultural, historical, economic and social life.

A World Council of Churches (WCC) conference has issued a joint statement calling the churches and ecumenical actors to commit themselves to support one another in prayers and actions to support Christian presence and witness in the Middle East.
The conference focused on the theme 'Christian presence and witness in the Middle East' was held from 21 to 25 May 2013, and was organised by the WCC and the Middle East Council of Churches in Beirut, Lebanon.

Amman - The official opening of the American University of Madaba, AUM, affiliated to the University of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem is scheduled for Thursday afternoon, May 30. King Abdullah II of Jordan, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem Fouad Twal and Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, Prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches will take part in the inauguration.
"The presence of the King, the Patriarch and the Cardinal" explains to Fides Agency Fr. Rifat Bader, director of the Center of Catholic Studies and formation for media "authoritatively confirms that the path of the new university institution should be viewed in the context of the great and enduring mission carried out by the Latin Patriarchate in Jordan in the field of education.

LWF President Younan Speaks at Conference on Christians in the Middle East
BEIRUT/Lebanon/GENEVA, 24 May 2013 (LWI) – “We do not live in the mentality of the ghetto, nor in the mentality of a minority complex, nor do we live as dhimmi (dependent) people,” said Bishop Dr Munib A. Younan. “We have always been, as Arab Christians, building our societies, loyal to our countries and nationalities, bringing hope in hopeless situations.”
Younan, bishop of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land (ELCJHL), was speaking at a joint World Council of Churches (WCC) and Middle East Council of Churches (MECC) conference on the Christian presence and witness in the Middle East, on 22 May in Beirut, Lebanon.
